Hello to friends and fans of all things Lizard! We hope you have been enjoying the new album Stray. You can get it in all the usual places, Spotify, Bandcamp, iTunes etc. Sadly the record counter at Woolworths has run out! But ping us if you would like a hard copy of the album, as CDs and sticks are also available on request. You can also find the first two albums (Hold The Mind and That Has A Nice Ring To It) in the usual places as well. Stray has had some great reviews...

"A perfect summary in 40 odd minutes of all that has been great in pop music the last 50 or so years"

"As the album reaches the end you realise that you have never heard anything quite like this celebratory and stylistic collection of excellent songs"

"A refreshing cornucopia of a dozen tracks where each one is completely different in style and substance; lovingly crafted in their studio by the perfectionist quartet"

"It’s a rare delight in today’s polished, soundbite world to hear words and music unafraid to run the gamut from hedonistic, toe tapping delight to gut wrenching emotion. The album, which is meticulously and beautifully self-produced, has undoubtedly been worth its lengthy gestation period"

"I’ve just recently sorted and broadcast my top 20 albums for 2018 , but I already have a contender for 2019 following a private preview listen to Stray"

Please give us a few comments of your own on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/LizardBrainBand and ask us any questions you fancy, about any track, who wrote what and why, who played what and how, about our working processes... like most arty types we just love talking about ourselves! And we are very proud of the new album. New songs are in the pipeline, including a Big Brother dystopian future and bitter disillusioned thoughts of the personalised jetpacks we were promised by the year 2000. We are still waiting! It's fun to be messing around with ideas after spending so long mixing and mastering the latest album. Who knows which of these will make the new album? We set a really high benchmark in terms of production, so our main wish for the fourth one is that it's... quicker! I'm aiming for 2020, don't tell the others.
